Keep in mind I have 4 very large and hungry German Shepherds, so this cake size was perfect for them to have two servings each. If you only have one dog, try using a muffin tin instead of large cake pan to make single serving Pup-cakes! You can even freeze leftovers so you always have a special treat ready to take out for your dog on a special occasion.
I hope your dog loves this cake and hope you enjoy baking it up for them! Leave me a comment letting me know if you made this yummy dog cake or if you made any changes to the recipe! Even better, share a pic of your dog with the cake on instagram and tag me @k9kitchn so i can see all of your lovely creations – and dogs! 😉
